Decision Critical, Inc. Announces 2010 Nursing Student Excellence Scholarship Recipient
Nursing Student Receives $1,200 Scholarship
AUSTIN, Texas, April 15, 2010 - Decision Critical, Inc. (Decision Critical) announced today that Annette Babu, nursing student at Palm Beach Atlantic University School of Nursing, West Palm Beach, Florida, is this year’s recipient of the Decision Critical Nursing Student Excellence Scholarship.
A committee composed of faculty and students, appointed by the Foundation of the National Student Nurses Association (NSNA), chose Ms. Babu. Kenneth W. Dion, RN, MSN, MBA, President and CEO of Decision Critical, presented the scholarship at the NSNA 58th Annual Convention Opening Session and Awards Ceremony on Wednesday, April 7, 2010, in Orlando, Florida.
“Decision Critical is proud to be able to continue to offer this scholarship to deserving future nurses like Annette,” said Mr. Dion. “Supporting education has long been, and will continue to be, a critical part of Decision Critical’s mission.”
The Decision Critical Nursing Student Excellence Scholarship program awards one student annually. Recipients are chosen based on academic performance, community involvement, and nursing student activity. Decision Critical has been the sponsor of this scholarship since 2005.
